The Coast of Britain |
|
Welcome to my journey around the coast of BritainThank you for visiting my site. There have been very few developments in the last year because we have moved from Norfolk to Caernarfon, North Wales and spent our time doing up the house. Now the house is nearly done, it's time for us to start our journey again. As you might guess I will be concentrating on Wales in the next few months. The white bits of the map are where I have been. As you can see, there's still a long way to go. Why am I doing this?Well, to cut a long story short:
What will I photograph?I really want to capture the true essence of the British coast. So you will see everything ranging from the classic beauty spots to industrial landscapes and small intimate studies that merely give a clue to the location. And of course many other things that catch the camera's eye. I am covering the British mainland & some islands. Ireland comes next. I will be using mostly 35mm Kodak Ektachrome EBX slide film, along with medium format Fuji Velvia. How long will it take?I haven't a clue. All I know is the mainland coastline is around 11,000 miles long. About CopyrightYou are welcome to save or print these images for your own private use. I will be developing a means of contact for anyone wishing to use any of the images commercially. And finally ... Please wish me luck!Thank you John Judge
